Charles Bridge
Charles Bridge is a stunning medieval stone arch bridge that connects the Old Town with Mala Strana (Lesser Town). Commissioned by Czech king and Holy Roman Emperor Charles IV, it was designed by architect Petr Parler.
There are many interesting legends about the construction of this beautiful Gothic landmark. One of the most unusual is that the builders decided to strengthen the mortar between the sandstone blocks by mixing raw eggs into it.

Petrin
